Am I required to complete compliance training?
All full and part-time faculty, staff, and student employees are required to take Compliance & Ethics training.
What courses am I required to take?
That depends on who you are and why you need training. UA Faculty, Staff, and Student Employees: Assignments for new employees are different from the annual training assignments for existing employees. Both lists are available on the UA Faculty, Staff, and Student Employees training webpage. UA Students: Non-Employees: If you are a student who is not a UA employee, you may be required to complete specific courses based on your course of study or the programs you are involved with. Check with your professor or program leadership for specifics on what you need to take. Non-UA Individuals: Sometimes University guests, volunteers, or contractors need to complete compliance training related to their role on campus. How do I access the training?
University employees and current semester students can access compliance training through UA LMS.
Can I complete the training from my mobile device?
Yes! UA LMS is available through a mobile app called Go.Learn. Using the mobile app will provide a much better user experience for smartphone and tablet users. Visit the UA Moble App page to learn more.
Does it matter what web browser I use?
UA LMS does not fully support the Safari mobile browser, and sometimes has trouble with Firefox. For the best experience, use Google Chrome.

Is it possible to get an exemption if I have completed similar training at another institution?
Since our courses are developed to specifically address procedures here at UA, equivalency credit for training taken at other institutions will not be granted.
How can I monitor the training status of my direct reports?
Supervisors can view training completion information for their direct reports at any time using the My Team feature in UA LMS. Visit the Information for Supervisors webpage for more information.

Are these the same courses that I took last year?
No. Each year's slate of courses is redeveloped to focus on updates and changes to laws and University policies and to address common issues on our campus.
Why do I have to repeat training on the same topics every year?
Certain laws and University's policies require training on specific topics to be conducted on an annual basis.
I am retired. Why am I continuing to receive notices about training?
Compliance training is assigned to all active users based on data imported from HR employee records. If you are still working with UA in any capacity (even part-time), you will receive training assignments. Please be aware that sometimes it can take a while for retirees to cycle out of the system. Contact your department to check on the status of your ePA.
