UA-Sponsored Youth Programs

What is a UA-Sponsored Program?

A youth program that is owned or operated by The University of Alabama on or off-campus is considered a UA-Sponsored program.  These programs encompass a wide range of activities that include, but are not limited to overnight camps, day camps, weekend workshops, private or group lessons, and internship opportunities.

Preparing for a Youth Program

  1. Read the Guide!

    The Guide details program requirements and provides guidance for program directors.

  2. Register Your Program

    All programs for or involving minor participants must be registered a minimum of 8 weeks in advance.

  3. Submit Staff Info

    ""

    Program staff names and contact information must be submitted in advance using the staff information form.

Reporting

Accidents, illnesses, and incidents that occur during the program must be reported promptly.
